I drove about 1500 miles this past weekend. And I want a Yakima rack too. I don't like throwing my dirty ass mountain bike inside the GE8.

Only thing i had to buy as the front fairing which was somewhere around $70.

I'll go with either Thule or Yakima. Both have good quality.

They're pretty universal, iirc the only thing that changes car to car is the q-clips

i like the thule better mostly but i like the yakima fairing better since its one piece instead of three like the thule. Def. dont like the round bars on the yakima system.

hell yeah. I find it weird that 2 of my female friends can't remember the last time they got their oil changed. How is it possible that cars owned by women aren't crapping out on them as often as they should?

Thanks for the information. I'm leaning more towards Yakima.

I know a couple of girls who know nothing about cars that don't ever do any sort of maintenance. It brings sadness to my heart.

I changed my air filter at 30K and replaced it with a K&N drop-in. Be careful with the plastic clips on the air box cover. I accidentally broke one of them while trying to put the clip back in place.
