30 k really? my car is having breathing problems already at 16 k and it has build up on the filter .. not awful but enough for me lol.. i guess jersey is just has nasty air lol

 

i take long trips at a time too so maybe thats it

 

Yessir. My GE8 never had any breathing problems, but the OEM filter was pretty dirty when I changed it at 30K.

Possibly. I'd imagine that the frequently driven Fits would have dirtier filters.

Matt I just bought pennzoil synthetic and a fram high mileage filter........neither of which I'm happy with, once I do some engine work I plan on switching to Redline oil or Amsoil and a nicer filter

 

Mobil-1 is a good filter. I haven't had any complaints. I was hoping Autozone would have the new Pennzoil Ultra but they didn't

Thanks for bringing up air filters, I need to clean my cone with the K&N recharger kit that I have in the garage somewhere. I've had the car for 3,500 miles and not sure when the previous owner cleaned it, if he ever did.

the day I brought her home. The guy had the entire car detailed, even the bay. I need to take it to a detailer again after it went through the harsh winter we had...I kinda wanna rip out the AC/PS and even the windshield washing system. Free up some damn space in there lol
