Replacing both cracked fog lamps on 2013 sport

So I finally got around to ordering a pair of depo replacement fog lamps from Amazon.com to replace my cracked fog lamps.

www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00XDDISFK/ref=ya_aw_oh_bia_dp?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll be adding lamin-x to protect from rocks and maybe a mesh overlay. Does anyone else have experience with the depo fog lamps? I thought the cover would be glass like oem but they are plastic.

So after getting the fog lamps prepped for the install using laminx and a plastic mesh grill, turns out the lamps ARE THE WRONG ONES! Had to return them... they were smaller in size, probably for the 09-11 Fit Sport. I had looked them up using what I thought was the correct part number.

Where has everyone else gotten their replacement fog lamps from? Don't want to go through that again.

Theretrofit source sells LED replacements that will fit the 12+ fogs and cheaper than OEM

I want to stick with OEM style fog lamps since I will be installing an HID kit.

If your going to do HID fogs, then buy the correct housings, the stockers are not correct for HID..

I decided to return the HID fogs and go with the morimoto LED fog lamps... didn't want the hassle of finding a set of fog lamps again. Anyone have pics of them installed and lit up?

Finally got them installed... added clear lamin-x and a plastic mesh grill on top for extra protection.

They are brighter and the beam is more focused.
