Rear Camera Activation Without Going in Reverse

Rear Camera Activation Without Going in Reverse
I have a 2015 Fit EX, and I really like the side camera for making right turns. I also like it that I can press the button to turn on the camera even when I'm not using my turn signal.
Does anyone know if it's possible to turn on the rear camera when the car is not in reverse? For example, if I'm in a parking lot with lots of pedestrians, sometimes I want to get a preview of what's behind me before I actually turn on my reverse lights. Or if someone is tailing me on the road, I could see how close they are.
According to the owner's manual, I can only turn on the rear camera when the car is in reverse. Has anyone else found another way?

No the camera is hardwired in the reverse switch. Someone did report that Honda got the wires switched so when making a right turn the rear camera would turn on. lol. Dealership was able to fix that.
Yeah I can see where you are coming from with this as would be nice to see exactly what is behind me while driving but as it is there is no easy way to do it. If somebody have a wiring diagram might be able to help.
