EX audio and android phone question

I have been using an iPhone and have contemplated a switch to Android. However, I am unsure of what repercussions that will have on my connectivity in the fit.

I generally use it for music now and have been plugging it in for streaming so called cd quality from Tidal for better sound.

Are there any gotchas I need to know about?

I use Android with mine, seen no issues, but only use it for handsfree and Bluetooth streaming.

Same. Bluetooth streaming works well. I'm not an audiophile so probably couldn't tell if it wasn't up to par of "cd quality". Still running stock speakers if that says anything hahaha

Seems like a strange item to base a decision on, especially when an iPhone as an audio source is average at best. Streaming CD Audio does not prove much when the audio hardware is below that. If that quality of music matters than much, you should looking at one of the Sony High Resolution Audio players, they make a huge difference.

That being I said, I can test it if you want, but I believe it will play audio via the HDMI port, but I think the screen is locked when you do. Let me know and I can check.

Actually, the iPhone is not that bad but for sure the stock DAC in the FIT is nothing to write home about. Having said that, running BT and Pandora vs running it plugged in using TiDAL is night and day.
