I just wanted to post my results with the XS Power D5100R AGM battery in my 2007 GD3 Auto.
I shoehorned this thing in. It rubs a bit with the OEM air box, I had to also toss out the OEM battery box that wraps the OEM Yuasa battery. It barely fits, but it does fit. The battery is still going very strong after installation in 2015. I have an aftermarket stereo w/ subwoofer and I just got tired of wiping out other batteries in 2 or 3 years. The other tiny agm batteries like the DEKA etx30l big crank were too risky and borderline in the dead of winter.
The car cranks up in half a second in the dead of single digit temps winter after leaving it for weeks. I recommend the battery if you can afford the $280.
I also use an AGM compatible battery charger once or twice a year overnight on it. (BatteryMINDer) 1.5/2amp should be enough.
