Talking Honda Fit; the most intelligent car ever built...

Nice looking car, fun to drive, magic seats totally genious, spacious, realiable and ecologic.

What can you expect more from a car ?

I want to keep my 2008 as long as possible and keep it as a collection car

Cool Long lasting cars.

I recently bought a Honda Jazz / Fit as a family member needed a replacement car for a short time. It is a 2007 with only 15K miles, I am now keeping the car as the family loaner. I have replaced a couple of dodgy tyres one an old 2007 the other a cheap Made in China tyre, new but not to my standard. I will be fitting new Discs and pads and one new caliper in the next couple of days, I was surprised these had not been fitted before I bought the car, but the car had a full dealer service history and you know what they charge for parts and work. I am quite impressed with this car.
I also run a pair of Honda Civic Type R now that is a car that is really great !

Yeah I think I'm going to keep the Jazz as a backup/loaner/hauler too for now. It had a bunch of issues (but then that's why it was cheap) that were now solved so hopefully nothing major will come up anytime soon. The only downside really is that it's not great on the highway, at least with the 1.3DSi. Otherwise it'd be good for long trips where I don't care about the driving experience and don't want to put the mileage on the miata. It drives fine of course but it's obviously pretty strained and the fuel economy isn't great at higher speeds, but it's understandable for a small city car.

I bought my 2007 Fit new back in 2006. Sold it to friends who needed an extra car because of 4 kids driving. Didn't want to sell it but my wife didn't want to pay insurance for my two vehicles. Had to keep my Suburban to pull our camper. I really missed it. I was a blast to drive and low maintenance. I had the fortune of buying it back from my friends a month ago. They had it three years and only put 6,000 miles on it. I've put 2,000 in just a month. It is still a blast to drive with 223,000+ miles on it.
