02 CVT Acting Up

I have an 02 CVT 5 speed, since I bought it last year, it's been shaking when switching between 1st or 2nd (or what a CVT would define to be that) maybe 2nd and 3rd but I'm not sure. 3 days ago I forced the transmission and it seems to be slipping, no weird sounds, no weird smells (I think) only the regular shaking but now with some slipping (sequential jumps or jerks, I think that means it's slipping?) the fluid is fairly discolored, I'm sitting on around 140k kms. Am I cooked? Should a new belt fix the issue? I've been told that it's not the best idea to change the transmission fluid since it could go right or wrong. The belt I found it to be around $70 + work shouldn't be that bad, but some people are charging me around $400 to change the fluid so I dunno what to do. I drive at 50km/h tops and never go over 3k rpm. I drove the car hard before tho...

If you haven't stumbled on this already, there is a product called Xado EX120 that you can add to the CVT. It's essentially magic. It severely cut down the stuttering off the line I was getting in my 07 CVT. It isn't a miracle worker, but for $50 it's worth giving it a shot, and maybe a partial fluid change. Ive put about 30,000km on my Fit in the past 2.5 years, all while coping with the stuttering to varying degrees. It isn't necessarily an immediate death knell.
