Uneven brake pad wear?

I replaced my rotors and pads just over a year ago and recently I noticed my brakes were making a low frequency noise, almost grinding noise, when I would slow down.

I checked and my rotors have a lip around the edge like I'm digging into them. It's a bit worse on the right side of the car. I have a bit of "meat" left on the pads but they look pretty worn for only 1yr and maybe like 20k miles.

Any idea why the wear would be uneven or why I'd need to change my pads so soon? It's not aggressive braking as I'm pretty easy on my brakes and these were EBC pads and brembo blank rotors. I would assume they'd last longer than stock but that's not the case here.

i have the same problem
i heard rotors are supposed to be changed every 60 000 kms but i had to hve mine changed around 40-50 000 kms. i just passed the 80000 km mark recently
got mine changed just about a year ago and i'm having same issue again these couple days..the worst is when braking at a downhill...my legs shake like crazy from absorbing the impact from brakes to pedal to leg

Thumbs up $85.00 shipped to ur door with ceramic pads!!

I put these drilled rotors on a year ago and have had really good results with them. From what I have read the holes dissapate the heat faster so they are less likely to warp. The slots on rotors from what I have also read are for keeping the pad surface from glazing but in street use the slots just remove more material off the pads.

At 35k mi, my rotors were warped and my brakes pulsed really bad. Something must be wrong because I'm not harsh on my brakes at all.
