What did you do to the GD Fit today?
Finally had some time to myself today, put the summer tires on the Rota Slip's, 3mm hub spacers on the rear axle, painted/installed my home depot center caps and then gave it a quick wash to get all the nastiness from the past couple months of salt and dust off her:

Need to take it to a pro to repair the snow brush scuffs

Never really thought about that actually, what % around the car would you or did you go for?
I'll have to look into what's legal around here... black on black with a decent tint would look pretty nice actually. Good idea!
The blue GDs have kinda grown on me, it looks sharp!
Blue, silver, red, and orange are the most common I see out here, GE and GD.

The two 7" cooling fans I ordered came in today so I am going to be fabricating a a mess of stuff to get the w/m injection kit including a box that fits under ti I/C to mount the fan in to pull air through it and exit to the right side and down ... I will not have room to drill into the pipe into the throttle body to mount the injector because there isn't one so the hole will be drilled into the I/C an inch or so from where it meets up with the throttle body... The tank for the injection kit will be in the spare tire well so a stiffer cover needs to be constructed that sits about 2" higher than the flooring to fully cover the fill hole in the tank.. I don't think it will be hard or look bad, I will still have plenty of room for my fast growing 65 pound puppy and his crate... I hope my body won't protest too much and let me get this and the other nit picky crap I need to do to it done in just a few days... I have been preoccupied by a real strange phone call from a friend that I wasn't expecting..
If you have real jdm badges on front and back please dont do this. Order a real jdm one for a EP3 rear. Cut knobs of back of jdm emblem and stick it over top of factory emblem. This will tie all your badges together.
Just my option though. You do you.
Please give me more info on these so called home depot center caps. I still need caps for my circuit 8s, and rota has them on back order. Much interest on these.
What's the center bore? I used a regular 2" knock out cap for an electrical box and painted them with a gunmetal-ish rustoleum hammered finish.
Goobers did this to his GE on my suggestion buthad to use like 2 5/8" or something for his Enkei's, but worked all the same.
For only $0.90 they are fantastic.. and as you can see in the picture they look like they were supposed to be there
Check the electrical/utility box aisle at home depot or lowes or whatever. If you don't paint or clear coat them they do get crusty as they oxidize.
DSM - I went 35% on the rear five w/ a 10% strip across the windshield. If I were to do it again it would be 30% on the rear five, 50% on the front doors and 10% windshield strip plus those front vent windows. Around these parts, as long as the view inside the front windows is clear the law seldom gives out hassles.
I bought my caddy out of Miami and it was a total limo tint and the entire windscreen was at 50% with a bold 10% strip across the top. Sweet looking, but hard at night. Lasted two years back up north until a trooper figured it was just too much. Pulled the front five on a performance ticket [no charge] and all is still good. Old tint comes off hard.
