Well pulled my gauge cluster apart last night to get rid off that annoying tpms light. Broke clear lens that covers gauges trying to get it out. Ordered a new one from bernardi last night to fix it.

There is no real diy for this. The only one available is not the best and no pictures. So,i did not take pics pulling it out, but I will installing it. Ill just make a diy for this. Post my pics in reverse and done. Not bad of a job, just a couple key steps you dont want to skip.

 

Just installed my HKS Hi-power exhaust today. Went for a drive and I love it. Its nice and quiet and will be great with my HKS turbo kit once it goes on.

 

why not just ingore the light? i have that light up and the airbag light and just ignore them, well the TPMS light I cant see becaue I put the scan gauge infront of it. Anyways just make sure if/when you decide to sell the car you do get the light back to working again

I have been ignoring the light it does not bother me now. However im due for inspection end of the month, and all cars after 2008 are mandated by government to have tpms system. So with light on car will fail. Wish I could throw stockies back on, but tires suck on them. So disassemble gauge and tape off light. Thought about putting blitz throttle controller there, but am afraid they will move it to see lights. No big deal clear lens cover already in route from bernardi and a lesson learned. I drive company truck mostly anyway so fit will wait patiently

 

Aw ok cool, inspections is one thing I don't have to worry about so I have never cared about any of those lights or keeping my exhaust legal.

 

yesterday i had a car show to go to at a local honda dealership. so i washed and detailed the fit and also got a red "h" emblem for the rear hatch. got to the show and there were honda corperate guys that were checking out my car and all of the little details that i did. needless to say i won the show and won 300 dollars cash. also in a raffle i won 100 dollars worth of service. ill see if i can use it for parts. i had a great time though.

thanks guys... ya it was a show to release the 2012 civics. corporate people were there and a bunch of business people with special invites. then they had invited people from local forums. there were about 30 cars there. we all drove through the shop one by one to have pics taken with a dj booth there with all the lights lazers and fog and the 2012 civics were all on lifts mid level. it was pretty dope. not to mention u in ur car in the spotlight for a few seconds with a ton of people surrounding u snapping photos. it was the best set up show i have ever been to. not to mention bringing home a win on top of 3 nsxs, a type r teggy supercharged, and an ALL jdm 98 4 door civic with the window sticker and everything jdm u can think of with a nice green paint job all tucked and shaved. i though that guy was gonna win. he got 2nd.

but thanks again guys for all ur support and keeping the fit love still alive. here in az im really the only modded fit. there might be a few others with wheels and maybe lowered but im probably THE ONLY REAL modded fit.

Bthasht, when you changed the tires/rims the tpms monitors can be switched from your stockies and replaced on any tires/rims that you are going to install, which will make them operator as though they were yur oems..I've changed tires and rims several times and each time the tire techs simply install my monitors in each tire. My light has never come on after after being switched out....
