Came out this morning and there was a def. dif. between the waxes! NXT had smaller droplets than the gel but the gel has a killer gloss factor.

I swear, everytime I wax, I sometimes have trouble taking the wax back off and feel I'm buffing too long. What causes that? What am I doing wrong?

Do smaller areas and use plenty of cleal terry cloth towls. The NXT by megqairs is a good sealer followed up w/ their gold wax. And nano spray by eagle1 is a fantastic detailer.

Yeah, maybe I'm not using enough towels to take off the wax. Past example, wax hood, wait for haze, then buff off using 1 microfiber towel, alternating between sides frequently.

^^^Please tell me your not serious. LOL

But anyways, installed exhaust and washed/waxed the Fit, then battery died...spent most of my time off yesterday cleaning corrosion off the terminals and un-installing/re-installing the front strut bar to get to the terminals...

Celebrated my birthday this evening giving my MR a good cleaning inside and out. The MR's birthday is May 17th! We've been together for 4 years hard to believe - it has gone by fast. The first couple of car shows for this year have been rained out so we are hoping for next weekend to be our first attempt. Going to our local car club picnic on Saturday which is suppose to rain again! Ugh!

Be sure to put on a light coat and do the finger test. Let it dry and if you can take your finger moving it across the wax and it comes off clear not hazy it is ready to buff off. Meguiars web site has some great how to videos they are even on You Tube.

I accidentally adjusted my MBC way up and hit 21 PSI (i think it could have kept going but I am not tuned for over 20~ psi) and then had a pending code pop up right after p1454 (Honda/acura) Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor range/performance problem...Then readjusted back down to 16 psi... =P so all is good

Does anyone know for sure what type of material is used on the exterior B-pillar (between front and rear door windows) trim? I'm thinking its a satin black paint and want to try buffing out the scratches they've got on them.

Disregard my previous post about the scratched B-pillars. Meguiar's Scratch X does an ok job of removing/covering of the scratches, but I'm going to use some Zaino's All-in-One Protectant to get the remaining scratches out.

Do you know if Zaino has an "All-in-One Catholic" product?

So what would b worse? Taking the wax off too early or letting it sit on there too long?

Well, it was yesterday but I put on a Spoon B pipe and Spoon axleback. It sounds great but the B pipe seems to hang pretty low.
