It wasn't exactly painful or anything, it was just unexpected. Thank you for your concern though.

This is why we have A/C in the car, Hootie. Roll your windows up!
Believe it or not, I was just driving like a normal person for once and after glancing at the speedometer the bug came and kamikazed my eye.

I don't use AC because I don't like being cold or like how the AC reduces the engine's power output.

I finally received my switchblade keyfob and had it cut today. Works like a charm. Soooo much nicer than the stock key.

I'm waiting for the sun to set to hit some back roads.... Bugs will die tonight, I just hope I can avoid hitting skunks, coons, possums, armadillos and deer.... Big thunderstorms today so the road surface will be clean and grip good.

Jammed to some indie rock as I picked up some Dominoes Pizza today, then listened to a mix of techno and punk rock remixed songs as I drove an interesting back road I found, and when I got home I checked out the lip kit and undercarriage of the Fit for any damage due to that road having all kinds of debris on it.

If you are driving a GD3 Sport and the front lip isn't trashed to hell you aren't driving it right... Ultra slammed cars don't count.... Fiery little terriers at a dog show aren't penalized for scars, it is accepted as a testament to the spirit of the breed..... I quit worrying about the lip on my car the first week I started driving it.

LOL I partially agree with you on that. If the bottom of the lip is scuffed up, I won't care too much because it won't be visible; but, if a visible part of it got damaged I'd be kicking myself in the ass for weeks because I'm OCD about the Fit and certain other things.

Anywho, no damage was done from the small branches and sticks on the road.

Since you are like that I think you would have to be hospitalized or at least on medication if your's was as beaten up as mine...It grounds out multiple times just about every time I drive it.... It sits like 1 1/2" lower than stock with Swift springs but it has always scraped even before.

Dang, those roads that you drive on must have some pretty step drops. There are a few places in a nearby town around here that a Fit at stock height could scrape at if you don't go in at an angle.

Most of the older businesses occupy buildings built in Model T days and are steep.... There was no road to my house until a few months ago so I was driving through sugar sand that my wheels would often sink into making the lip a grader blade when it was dry and when it was wet it would wash out in places and harden somewhat while moist and create a different kind of hell to drive over... It was after my wife sunk her truck one morning and we got a Forester that the county built a road to my driveway which is still a mess when it rains and washes out..... They were going to jack up my property taxes but I was awarded a 100% exemption on 20 acres acres for being a 100% disabled veteran.
