Wow MN, now you can feel the speed sensation without even starting the engine... Is it comfy? You have my "enthusiast" check mark!

Nice seat!

MN Fit, that seat looks great! Now don't take any offense to this, but is that the "real deal" or a replica?

I have been contemplating replacing my driver seat for some time to a more comfy sport seat.

As for what I did, here is what got done...

Repaired fog light with new lexan window...

Did you do a DIY on the install, so we can see how you got around the airbag issues? Looks great BTW!

Got the sub grill tonight from CA. a little paint and ...... now it matches the box
Think'n about adding 4 purple leds (1 in each cut out) and a tip31 transistor so they come on and off to the bass.

The "armor" was just left over aluminum mesh which I used to protect my A/C condenser.

I just cut and formed it inside the housing. What holds it in place is the foglight itself. On the inside of the foglight housing, I just placed it in between the mounting screws which attach the foglight to housing.

Viola!

I was in a rush to get the seat in today so I dint take many pics of what had to be done to get the rail to fit and installing the seat. I will make sure to do a DIY when I put in the passenger seat. As for the airbags I just said F-it. Ghetto as hell, yea but what ever. I will live with it untill I can figure out a solution.

Thumbs up Swap

Hey the Recaro seat looks very nice! Jus' wondering if they are adjustable (slide forward-backwards) once installed... or will they be in a fixed position?

The Bride rails I have are adjustable. You can call it luck but the way the rails mount I have the seat as far back as it can go and it the perfect position. So if your taller then 5'11" these probable are not the seat rails for you.

Thanx for that info, however; I wuz wondering again about the airbag situation...does that ''disabling'' of the bag cause your dash airbag warning light to come on?

Unfortunately, here in Hawaii when you go for a safety check and (if) the inspector checks your dash you cannot pass the check if the airbag light is flashing on your dash...yeah! I know hummbug.

Aww. But they look so good! I might be too wide for the Recaros anyways though.. (6'4 285lbs)

Nice car, man.
