MNfit, didn't you have some engine work done that required some machining and new parts installed in the head or the head removed for some reason???

They had to take the head off to put in the cams, the only machin work I had dine was the intake manifold bored at the throttle body to 70mm

I had some fun Saturday night when I hung out with some young guys that have hotted up imports, Mustangs, turbo diesel trucks and stuff... They were pretty impressed with my Fit after I drove out on a highway with a couple of them that had some real good radar detectors and we did some pulls.. When we returned to the parking lot their were more people there they had called to come and look at my car.. One of them had a very nice looking Civic SI and was told by a guy in an Eclipse running 14 PSI that had gone out on the highway that he should race me and the other guy that had gone in his Mustang told me I could run off and hide from him.. The SI guy said he had already heard about my Fit... I have a Weapon R intake manifold to put on it now and still need to install the methanol/water injection kit on it since it is finally cooling off some.

It might be that the head wasn't properly torqued when it was reassembled... I have known guys that would fill their cooling system with plain water with some sort of sealant added to it after having the head re installed... Hopefully they will get it right for you.

^^^Along those lines, if you blew a gasket in the past, sometimes it can warp or deform the area where the head and the block meet and sometimes require a couple thousandths machined off to make everything level again. i would at least have the meeting surfaces checked to make sure they are as level as possible and definately make sure your head is torqued to spec

Parked next to a unusually high curb today and my girlfriend opened the passenger door and dented the bottom of the door.
