What did you do to the GD Fit today?
i need to do a good cleaning on my gd. its beem collecting dust due to it not raining and it rained for 5 minutes and now is super disgusting. need some good photos too...but i want my wheels first
Dude another San Jose Fit?! why you trying to hide? lol jk. Boosted L15 huh, nice. where are you getting your tune done?
If you do link your thread here or at least tell me where you got your tips okay?
My tips are pretty simple. I clean it alot. I use pressure washer at car wash to get off bugs (spray only. No brush). Then drive it down interstate at 60+mph for blow dry. I use only Meguires stuff. If I just use detailer its the black bottle. When I wax I use cleaner wax in the red bottle. Always use microfiber. I also use microfiber on my buffer to get wax off. That's it. I just do it alot.
Sold the swiss army kn- I mean Fit. Sad day.
Although, not all that disappointed. Now I have 241 cubic inches, 266 ft-lb of torque, a six speed manual, four wheel drive... so far 21 mpg averaging, stays around 25 mpg at 60 mph. Liveable since I only put on 10k miles a year if I'm lucky. Bring on the snow!

After putting nearly 75,000km (~47,000miles) on the rubber that came with the car, gave her some new Kuhmo Ecsta AST 195-50R15.
Couldn't stop there so did the "JDM styling" rear wiper mod (a.k.a. Stiffy)
Now I wait for coilovers. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...coilovers.html

Is the NAPA stuff any good?
Thanks
For bugs I use the good ole pressure hose at the local car wash. Works wonders.
Off that i backed up out of my buddies driveway today, and popped the bumper out at the corners. No big deal just hit it with fist and it pops back in. Just got me thinking am I low enough now? Probably not, if i would have left the bumper in the driveway then maybe yeah.

took out the stock head unit and got my alpine cde-103bt all ready to go just waiting for the sun to show its face in about 8 more hours so I can put it all in.
quick question for those watching this thread. The alpine unit has a ground wire that the instructions say to screw into with any existing screw on metal, but the wiring harness that connects to the factory honda plug has a ground lead too. should I mount the ground and tape off the lead to the harness or connect the ground to the lead on the harness instead of directly to metal? Tuff one for me as a noob cuz I want to say honda has a good ground already in the factory plug and the other side of me says follow alpines directions. but im not sure what effect that will have on that lead if it's just left to dangle

Your wife trying to race is a very good thing... Maybe I can let you use my Fit to teach her how to drive and shift a manual transmission.... Women like to be in control so stressing how much better control she has with a manual shift car as you are teaching and showing her how how she has more control will make her want to get a manual shift car.
