What did you do to the GD Fit today?
My only complaints are that its annoying whenever the torque converter opens and closes a lot (in the extremely rare cases I drive in D) as well as it hangs a little too low for my taste; its doesn't scrape the ground or anything, I just think it would look better like 1/2 inch higher up.
So I have had my Fit for three years now and the other day I decided to ordered the dead peddle, haha, I plain to put it in on Monday. Also if everything goes as planned, tomorrow I will be the proud owner of some DC5 ITR seats
Just out of curiosity. The majority of the KWSC Fits that I know of on here are primarily A/Ts and I'm slowly penny pinching for an A/T kit for mine.
You haven't had any tranny problems like slippage or abnormally high temperatures since you had the kit have you?

The tranny seems to be holding up pretty good, I haven't noticed any thing. If your asking about Tran temps I dont know, I dont have a gauge. Water temps are around 170 -180 might get close to 200 on a hot day
Hootie.... You will be smart if you get a slightly over sized transmission cooler weather you get the KWSC or not.... If you install it on the pressure side before the fluid goes through the radiator it will be more effective in lowering the water temperature and the fluid will get no warmer than the water as it is returned to the transmission.... It is a good thing during the summer in stop and go traffic.... My car has never ran any hotter with the KWSC even since I installed the upgrade... The inter cooler makes a lot of difference when the car is moving even at 25MPH but not so much sitting still with the A/C on.
A transmission cooler is defiantly will be installed on my GD in conjunction to the intercooled KWSC kit. My thing is I really want to increase the low end torque for stop and go traffic, have a power to weight ratio of around 16 lbs per horsepower (stock A/T's is 23.404 lbs to1 bhp), and still have a reliable, fuel efficient daily. And of course suspension and chassis mods will be added accordingly.
I know turbocharging would be a better choice power whiles, but I'd have to drill the oil pan to for the turbo, wouldn't have fog lights, and would to go get tuned. On the other hand, the KWSC kit is pretty much plug and play, you just have to drill a hole or two to relocate the AC hose clamp, plug in the Supercard and go. In addition to this, turbos (even small ones) have to wait X amount of time for the exhaust gases to get that turbine up to speed whereas superchargers will instantaneously deliver its boost as soon as the hammer is dropped.
Plus, the whine of a supercharger puts the sound of a turbo spooling or blowing off to shame. It makes me all gitty inside.

thought I was going to pick up my seats today, but there was some miscommunication and now not going to pick them up untill Tuesday. Monday though I plain to order the Bride RO rails. On a side note I now have $900 cash just sitting around untill then, I have necer held so many $100 at one time 
omg which ones did you get and where? I literally looked everywhere for some and everybody was on backorder with no eta....

I saw temps under the hood reaching 140f last week at idle (90's at speed) and noticed a slight drop in power than usual, after insulating it helped even with the AC on!! And the milage has taken a dive too from 30 to 28.4 mpg I know the AC sucks up some of the mpg and that's the price ya pay to be comfortable (but man it's been hot this summer in Va Beach). The temps have been over 100f and the ac after the cab was cooled down kept it resonably comfortable

Double bubble maylar insulation. It's a great insullator and is realy hard to start on fire. I had to pure acetone and gas to get it lit. haha it's good to about 400f. It's R-11 and highly reflective, I did notice ( so I feel ) the power was back to her ol' self and it was 98f outside @ the time.
