Just "wasted" $130.
Install wasn't as easy as I hoped, but really not too bad. Anyone with some patience, basic tools, and an IQ over 100 shouldn't have any problem. I ended up needing to extend the wiring for the reverse lights on the driver's side - without pulling upper interior body panels, there was no way there was enough slack. I cannibalized the (now) unused rear taillight harness for the extra 3 inches needed. But like others have found, it does work okay on the passenger side once you undo a couple a few clips.
Getting the reverse lights to fit in the JDM socket is a head-scratcher at first, but a couple minutes of playing with them & you'll figure out the one little block of plastic on the taillights that you can remove to make them lock in like stock.
What I was surprised at, was the incredible amount of sand & dirt I found caked in & on my rear bumper support. I wish I'd emptied my shop-vac before going to work so I could weigh what I found. No joke, there was enough there to grow a medium sized ficus. So if you guys have any excuse to pull your rear bumper, I highly recommend it for the mad weight savings once you get rid of the dirt back there.

where can you find a white LED replacement for the reverse light and turn signal?
