I'm going to look at two used fits.

are there some common issues/noise/leaks that are somewhat known on FITS?

I'm just trying to get an idea what I should pay more attention to.... or what issues you've had on your fit?

 

I just recently bought mine...no issues yet but there is a sound that you hear when u start it, kinda of like running water. I freaked a little when I heard it the first time but it's just the gas you hear moving around cuz I guess the tank is under the driver's seat.

 

I would check out the plastic covers and wheel well liners to make sure that they are properly attached and in good shape... That stuff can be expensive to replace.

 

Somebody would sell their Fit?!

I guess I would make sure it wasn't stolen!

 

There are no major bad issues with the Fit, so it's tough to find things to look for. There is a recall on some of the GD's for the door switch... look to see if the car needs it and if it's done already.
