best spark plugs for GD?

I've been intermittently getting the CEL with stuttering. I was going to replace my coil packs and replace my spark plugs at the same time.

Which spark plugs are you using? Part #?

Who has the best prices on coil packs?

Don't you guys have iridium spark plugs fitted as stock on your GDs?

I'm running NGK BKR6E-11s...won't last nearly as long as any iridium plug but they're factory-recommended for my engine.

I'm using the Iridium sparkplugs that Oscar Jackson recommended for the GD3. Seems to work better than the stock iridiums and even showed a slight HP increase via dyno testing.

With Denso IK22s I am seeing ignition timing of over 40 degrees advance at time and almost always in the mid 30s.

Now is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Yes it is good.... You burn your fuel more thoroughly, make more power and torque.

ive run the denso ik22s before I had a s/c and now im still running them after i sold my s/c. Not a single problem. On the dyno we saw more power on the 2nd and 3rd run as it heated up, the tuner said that would be the ik22s

If it advances your timing 40 degrees, do you have to make other necessary adjustments to compensate for the advanced timing?

^the computer will redo the fuel and whatnot....

doing a intake/exhaust will help get the most out of that extra timing...
