I was wondering if anybody else has a crunchy, noisy clutch pedal, that just started all of the sudden.... It dosent seem to affect my driving at all, but it is annoying as anything.... any insight? its almost sounds like a spring that is being overextended and making a sound, but i dont know. Thanks

 

Is the noise coming from under the dash or do you think it might be outside in the engine compartment. It honestly sounds as if something in the clutch master cylinder has broken. I would have it looked at before you are left stranded.

 

the noise seems to be coming from under the dash, like the pedal linkage needs wd40 or something... I'm not losing any clutch fluid either, I checked.... I think it would be weird for the clutch master cylinder to go out at 51k, especially since i do 90% highway driving, but you never know, i will try to take it to honda this week or next to see what the verdict is, but still let me know of any suggestions everyone.... thanks a million!

 

Maybe it's your throw out bearing.. is the noise while the clutch pedal is moving or when depressed?

Under what circumstances do you hear the noise?

 

I looked at it closer and I can feel the sound on a metal plate above the clutch pedal.... I guess I'll take it to get looked at... I'll be upset if it's something major especially with the mileage being low and doing mostly highway driving.... I'll let u guys know what it is when I find out from Honda... Thank u for the input though
