HONDATA FlashPro, reinstall Scangauge and throttle controller Stiffen the engine mount raise the hood off of the fenders front bumper to put in an airscoop to top mount intercooler and body in front of windshield to evacuate hot air with help of a couple of 8" fans and replace some frame and bottom bracing..I will need a new clutch and lighter fywheel also.. I'm wanting to install a couple of racing vents in the roof also. Then I'll need a lot of realignment work.

I'll be excited to read about all that when it's installed!

So I have decided to remove the sound deadening, slowly but surely. I did this in my old EK and it only amounted to approximately 11 lbs, but every little bit helps with a low powered car.

The rear driver's side strut area piece weighs 0.46 lbs (207 g)

Slowly but surely the sound deadening comes out....rear passenger side hatch floor section: 0.36 lbs (165 g) I'm only doing 1 piece at a time because of the cold temperatures.

I heard about the dry ice technique but its not that cheap. I've been using a freezer bag filled with snow, haha. Doesn't work as well but it's free!

Added drivers floor panel: 0.68 lbs (308 g)...up to 6.8 lbs so far and there is the large section underneath the driver's seat spanning to the rear driver's seat floor left. I'm thinking it'll be around 10 lbs in total.

Added triangular jacking point underneath the car and it's bolts, hood insulator mat, oil cap (just to see how it stands up against the aftermarket ones).

Just an update, the gd3 upper transmission, rear engine mount, and side passenger mount with upper aluminum bracket weighs 14.1lbs.

I unfortunately didn't get the weight of the new innovative mounts.

Edit: FedEx says the box weighed 10lbs so there is some weight savings.
