5th Gear, Should I Be Worried?
You may have condensation accumulating in the transmission from the short drives you make.. Either take a longer route to an from you are going or use lighter viscosity transmission lube for extremely cold driving conditions. Your transmission will lubricate and warm up more evenly if you immediately begin driving after starting the engine, taking it easy on the throttle until it warms up a bit.

Did an extremely long drive yesterday. I think it took me 40 minutes to get home last night. Traffic was awful on the roads. Legit start and stop position. Every gear seemed fine. Had the minor issue with 2nd at the beginning being a little hard to push in but that's from the cold. Never hit 5th on my way home. That's getting tested later today on a long drive. I think the GM synchromesh really did the trick. Out of curiosity has anyone else noticed slight real slight vibrations on their stick shift when accelerating quickly? I know Texas mentioned not to do this in the cold. This morning she did give me a constant pulsing feeling when accelerator quickly but then when is as on the freeway in 5th slowly creeping up to 120km the vibrations were not noticeable. The pulsing would come and go in like 2nd and 3rd gear depending on how fast I was accelerating.
Do I need to just have a beer tonight and stfu and stop fretting? Haha.
