Welcome!

As you might have discovered, there isn't much potential in the L15A, or at least not yet. That doesn't mean you can't improve the power though. I'd start off with an axleback exhaust, an intake, a tune, and see how you like it. Also wheels, tires, and suspension, it WILL make your car livelier.

You can always go turbo but the gains and the price is just not justifiable imo. However people are happy with it so...

This is the best advice, PERIOD.

ANY future performance upgrades you want to do will require tuning.

People say that there in no potential in the L15A1 (GD motor) but that isn't the case. There is not as much dollar to HP potential as some other Honda engines like a D or B series, but that does not mean you cannot pickup 10 or 15% off where you start. If you save up and go turbo it can be MUCH more if planned appropriately.

No matter what though, the potential will be limited by your ability to tune the ECU. IF you slap bolt on performance parts on and don't tune, the ECU will re set for a static AFR target. In my case, I actually LOST power with the combination of bolt on's I had.

Also, if you balk at the price of a Flashpro.... Just save up $. Good suspension, wheels and tires or any other quality mods are going to run just as much!
