2007 Fit Base Keyless Workaround?
Hellooooo Freaks!
First post here, however I've been reading quite a bit lately!
Situation:
2007 Honda Fit Base. Want to add keyless. Factory Keyless (08E60-SLN-100) has been discontinued and I cannot locate one anywhere!
SO- I have been scouring the web to look for a solution. What I've found is that people have been upgrading other vehicles (Civics, Elements, CRVs) by adding a new keyless receiver from a CRV (38385-S9A-A01) and then utilizing the appropriate keyfob that is synced with that receiver.
DIY: Upgrading stock keyless entry to Accord / CR-V style fob-head key - Honda Civic Forum
Obviously this isn't optimal, however with the original kit unavailable, it seems that I'm at the end of my options so I figured I would get creative.
The problem I see is that the original kit comes with a small harness that can plug into the fuse box to install the receiver. I know that the CRV receivers are readily available for around $50, however I cannot find the harness that gets it into the Fit.

Am I just treading water on this? Would this even be a viable option, or am I stuck going aftermarket?
I hope my above explanation of idea was clear. If not, I'm glad to reiterate. Thanks in advance!

Someone else on here has confirmed that the part still exists, the number has changed though. The last three digits are 300 instead of 100. There are a few threads floating around that have been bumped relatively recently (within the last month or two) with that information.

Thanks for the reply! I have tried searching the 'new' part number to no avail... I'm wondering why it doesn't show up anywhere?
My friend at Honda dealership searched it, and it's not listed in their system. Did you have any recommendations on where to track that down? Thanks!

Keyless Entry Part # 08E60-SLN-100
I've been checking on this same issue. I have a 2008 Base Honda Fit and want to make it a keyless entry.
I haven't had any trouble finding the part when searching for Honda OEM part websites - as of now I've seen it sold for $105 - $150ish.
08E60-SLN-100

The instructions I've found are here -

I haven't purchased this item yet, but I'm definitely going to go ahead and do so - it's absolutely worth it to me.

Well, that is interesting. The dealer has offered to re-tumble my driver door for 35 dollars (with me just handing him the tumbler). They have the part, and it's 216+tax, with the same part number mentioned above 08E60-SLN-300. FOr those folks in Calgary, it's T&T honda.

Keyless aftemarket
I added a generic simple keyless kit $12.00 off eBay wired to pw door master switch in drivers door. Can only lock and unlock all 4 doors and hatch at same time but it works for me.
