Acceleration issue

2007 Honda fit

When I am pulling off, barely pressing the gas pedal, the car jumps and accelerates rapidly. I thought the pedal is very sensitive, but at about 20 mph it keeps accelerating but very slow - I can hear the engine revolutions getting higher. At speed 50-60 mph, when overtaking another car, it accelerates normally. Is there some adjustment - the transmission or something else?

How many miles?

How long has this been going on?

Does this happen only after cold start, after hitting operating temp, or intermittently at any time period?

Is the Check Engine Light on? If yes, how long and have you checked the codes?

Did you check the ATF as per Honda's steps? (Start engine, let idle till fans engage twice, shut down engine and check level)
