I showed this argument to my friend who has a Miata(which I have driven) and he just laughed. He said it's like putting a trailer behind a Miata and claiming it has bigger cargo space than the Fit. Unfortunately, I don't have more to say than that either. You are comparing a car legendary for its handling with one that saves money on gas. Any decent driver would show that the Fit is not competition for the Miata or s2000.

Let me know when you want to go to a track so you can sign up and bring your s2000. Well see what happens.

I drove a miata and wasn't a fan of it. The miata was way easier to drive to me. Also our argument about price was between the s2000 and a fit. I will say that a miata is way cheaper to build something that would beat the fit If they use the same price. A miata is a cheater car to maintain and keep fast.

If an S2000 is driven by an incompetent person...that doesn't mean the car isn't a vastly superior platform.

It is easier to drive a slow car fast. Both are very fun, don't get me wrong. S2k and M were super fun. But I get just as much fun diving into corners and blasting aroind in a Fit. Best is those silly Mini owners who think they're on the set in the Italian Job. Burn them around corners. Priceless.

buy it....

I cant say enuff about this car, I wont even let people smoke in it. I've owned mine since New, the only think that I don't like about it is the lack of the arm rest and roof rack but you can find aftermarkets parts, I took this car a while back to NY from Ohio, with 3 adults, the car truly handle great , stopped, got descend gas mileage.

I have changed out the rims though, I put 2011 sport rims on it, from a another fit owner. (actually from this site) the new rims raised the car up alittle, and road noise lowered, the car also drove smoother. whole lot better looking then the 08 rims. Oh I did put on a fat muffler on, for shits and giggles. I have 93,000 miles on mine, the car is well planned out , the fold down seat are very smart. I drove a pick-up truck for at least 15 years straight. I wish Honda would come out with a pick-up truck. the car is worth every cent I have in it, I'm seriously thinking of either rebuilding the motor (when it finally goes) or dropping the same sized engine in it. Ok maybe with a full header.

and say you wanted the arm rest, there is DIY Articles on FITFREAK that can infor you enuff that you can do it yourself. Good Luck and get FREAKIE
