I have a 2006 GD1 L13A Jazz, have a start up problem recently. cold start no problem at all (start up less than 1 sec), when the engine cool down 30~60min, feels like don't want to start, cranking sound take 3-4 sec, but no fire, If you do it again, will start immediately. Everything is perfect and runs well, except this. Checked battery is ok, alternator working (14.3V), 8 spark plug change 6month ago, still new, 8 coil pack checked when engines one and unplug the cable one by one (may be I am wrong), but feels like all pass.....what other parts will failure in this situation.....it's really brother me, any people have this problem before ? Fuel pump check valve is letting the fuel drain back. ?? FUel pump relay getting bad. ?

 

but it's act normal when the engine is on, no hesitations and any play with rpm. Will the bad fuel valve or relay case the start up problem ??

 

some cars if the pump check valve sticks open it lets the fuel siphon back in to the tank so it has to re-prime itself each time you start. Your relay may not be triggering during starting ,,, come to think of it you might load test your battery?
