Rear Shock Tower Mount Q

New Fit owner and fitfreak member.
2007 Fit Sport, 105k, Chicago Car.
Replaced rear suspension last week. Tokico HTS Progress Springs and added Progress RSB.

Was loving the ride and then noticed something odd. Went into the trunk and noticed the plastic cover for the shock was popped up and not seated. Had my wife drive while I observed and saw that the passenger side moved up and down a little more than the drivers side under load, maybe 1 mm more, but enough to pop off the cover.

The biggest difference would be that there's now that metal cap to protect the adjustment mechanism dunno if this issue is something new, or had been occurring previously.

I took the passenger side apart again and re-installed, made sure everything was torqued to specs. Issue remains.

Handling doesn't seem to be impacted and I drove 120miles on the highway before the cover popped off.

Anyone know if this is an indication of something wrong with my install, or another wearable part (rear beam bushing etc) that is worn and needs replacement?

I can take a short video of this if it would be helpful to assist in diagnosing.
Thanks!

I'mm assuming the Progress springs lower the car?

Could the shock be bottoming out (and stressing the mounting rubber)?

The springs did lower the car. Shocks were replaced as well.

Perhaps its the rear upper mount thats worn? The parts look inexpensive.
