fit does not start

hey guys am a bit frustrated, 1 day while driving, my honda fit 2007 model died on me. i manage to start the vehicle again but it died after driving. i again managed to start it until it got to my yard and to this day it has not started. One mechanic said it was the fuel pump i bought one no change. another did a scan but the scanner did not read the ecu so he claimed it was the ecu so i got one. tried on the new one and its tje same result; no start. so i am a bot frustrated can i get some advice on the way forward and what should i tell these so called mechanics to look for please.

You can not just change the ECU. It needs to be programmed to the car security system, which means the VIN number must be programmed into the ECU. The following image is a pinout of the ODB-II connector, check for power and ground.

Test the ignition switch. Honda had a massive failure with these a few years back. I don't see it being common for the Honda Fit, but what you are describing here and in the other post suggests that it can be the switch. Also the GD3 is prone to water leaks so the extra moisture inside the cabin can cause electrical issues with corrosion. Good luck.
