We like to keep the turbo system in low profile, so we place the BOV in the location shown in photo.

May I ask what did you use to wrap the oil line (The blue tape). Is it for cooling or protection??

That's not wrap. That's the color of Aeroquip FC332 hose.

sweet...can't wait for pricing (hopefully cheaper than the PE rotrex kit) and dyno numbers. Like the quality parts involved for sure....and the fact that its on an auto .

Much love for a bay area Fit. Hopefully you can bring it out in the summer for a Fit meet. Good job on using AT tranny cooler. That will definitely help out. Might want to ask Level Ten about their torque converter or shift kits if they can make it for you.

Great photos, thanks. I actually liked the BOV location--outside the box--and the engine bay! I also noticed the intercooler looks pretty discreet as well.
The only concern I saw was airflow to the radiator. With two oil coolers, the intercooler, A/C condenser, and radiator all trying to breathe the same air--I'm interested to see coolant temps. Plus the radiator now has to cool the turbo as well.

I ran into this with my Miata on hot summer days with A/C on, especially in stop and go traffic--it wanted to overheat. Are you adding a real coolant temp gauge--or will your engine management setup log that info?

Thanks again--I love this stuff--car porn.

We have Defi gauge cluster (boost+EGT+Oil pres.+Oil Temp.+Water Temp.) and AEM UEGO installed. Water temp. stays between 80-90 centigrade and oil temp. stays between 70-80 centigrade during cruise. During very aggressive drive such as WOT, water and oil temp come up to 95 and 90 centigrade respectively at maximum. There are no cooling efficiency issues.

Excellent. I had never seriously considered boosting the Fit--but I am starting to second-guess what I'll do after the next 34,500 miles are done.

Thanks for the reply.

The exhaust is F-TECH cat-back with 63mm diameter due to space limit.

How long has the test-car had the AEM F/IC installed? How many miles since the install?
