Just wondering, what size are the openings on the air box and throttle body?

Kinda curious about doing this, I just may for the sound.

Is that box bracketed to anything or is it just flopping around?

Sorry, i'm not intimately aware of where the mounts are on the airbox and couldn't tell. Glad to hear you can keep stock bracketing, i'll probably do this then.

Thanks for the pics.

In picture 2 you can see the location of the mounts and also in picture 5...... when you bolt the mounts back in the box will move around, however when the lid is clipped on and attached to the coupler it is very stable and wont move......

Oh I see now, perfect, I didn't know that bracket on the left went all the way up like that so I didn't notice. Thanks for pointing it out.

I did the same thing other than not running the hose into the coupler and cutting out the entire bottom of the box.

Apologies for raising the dead, but what size elbow and couplers are needed to do this?

Hey I like this idea and am planning on doing this for a temporary mod until I can get something else put together and was just wondering if you had any issues with water getting into the box set up like that, also where can I find that 90° silicone connector for the throttle body.
