Looking to get an aftermarket exhaust for more HP. Don't like noise. Got a HPS Short Ram installed now and knocked the 5-60 MPH time down to 9.1 secs vs 10.5 secs stock. Will do the IK22 indexed plugs mod.


Would an Axle Back Exhaust be sufficient or Cat Back? Why?




If Axle Back, what exhaust? -what being considered now is:


HKS Hi-Power (HKS 32003-BH005 Hi-Power Exhaust)


Tanabe Medalion Touring (T70143A)


Local shop makes an Cat-back with 2.25 ID with MagnaFlow universal muffler..




If Cat-Back - which one(s)? (are they fairly quiet?)

No one puts Fits with exhausts on a dyno.... because they don't up your power.

 

You need a piggy back or other method of tuning to get any gains out of a cai and exhaust or any other mods because the stock ecu will adjust for the factory tune after any mods
