Does anyone know do they make block of mirror plates yet? i want to trash the oems and get some tiny CF

 

i made some for my gd a couple years ago. i used aluminum from a road sign

 

I need those teensy mirrors...

 

I really liked them. the stock units are so heavy and look so chunky

 

The stock mirrors are as large or larger than those that came on the 1950 and 60s pickup trucks... I like the round conical shaped mirrors that were popular after market parts used on British sports cars.... I know the stock mirrors have to be having a negative affect on fuel mileage and top end speed even if they have a somewhat aerodynamic shape.

 

I never noticed you had aftermarket mirrors solbrother, then again I don't see many pics of your car. They look really nice

 

thanks! I'm actually back to OEM. I think I will make some more mounts and go back to motorcycle mirrors

 

 

This is one thing I like about the GD over the GE, the side mirror mounting. The GD seems to be like the Snisen and probably could even use that same base.

 

I wish the GD had regular mirrors so I could get some ganadors
