I have a 09 Sport w/ Nav and I need to replace with an aftermarket radio. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the Fit's Microphone as the external mic for the bluetooth on the new radio. If so, any ideas which wire?

Also, anyone know which wires go to the USB plug? Anyway to connect it to a rear USB on the aftermarket?

 

I am going to do the same thing as this factory nav unit is WORTHLESS. I'll post the info once I tackle it but you may have already completed the swap. As far as the mic goes, go digging behind it to find the wire colors and then locate those wires in the harness behind the stereo. For the USB, you'll have to replace it with a new USB cable for your aftermarket stereo. The factory unit uses a proprietary connector (at least proprietary to Alpine). Keep me posted if you've already done this and i'll toss up some pics and details when I do it.

 

Any new developments on these ideas? I'm thinking of doing the same.
