2012+ dark dash trim install pictures

Hi all,

Just looking for pictures of installs using the 2012+ darker finish OEM navi dash trim. I have a 2009 Fit, but I think the darker trim will look nicer with an after market double din.......just looking for pics to confirm this. Most pics I have found are with the lighter 2009-2011 trim.

If I go this route, I would of course replace the upper dash cover as well at the least....

Is this what you're looking for? I still have yet to source a trim ring that fits properly,

Ah yes, thank you. That looks great.

Have you tried the Metra pilot ring?

Thank!
I've read that other people have had success with that kit, I just haven't looked into yet... Soon though.

I can't remember exactly where, but it came from a Honda dealer in the US since the the Nav option wasn't offered in Canada. They don't make an aftermarket kit in this colour, the closest thing is a matte black kit from metra, but it's not that close of a match. Wish I could be more help. I'll try to look up the part number and post it.

I have a 2012 fit base, with the plain radio+CD player.

I am interested in replacing this with in dash backup camera, blind spot collision detection system, satellite navation, and FM radio receiver. (Note video playback is not needed, since it is too distracting for the driver. Nor is 2G/3G/4G Internet conductivity wanted, I pay enough as it is for my cell phone and don't want another mobile carrier bill every month for my car.) Is this possible? What is a rough estimate of the price.

I am not a mechanic, so I don't mind paying extra to have someone cut out my current dashboard unit and replace it professionally.

What gq_stylz_s posted looks promising, but not sure if this can meet my needs.

Currently I have a TomTom GPS unit, but it is such a pain to stick it onto my dash every time, and then hide it from thieves in the glove compartment each time I park, so having it built into the dash is preferred.

It would be great to have the added safety of backup camera and collision avoidance, especially when changing lanes.

I have seen some inexpensive NTSC based video backup cameras, with small lenses in the licence plate holder, but not sure how to get it to wire up the the dash. Also, it makes sense to have the same display for GPS, backup video, etc. then separate displays.

Do you have a part number for that double DIN enclosure? My local dealer couldn't find it on file.

The 2 parts you'll need are
77251-TF0-G01ZA (nav dash bezel)
77255-TF0-000 (nav bracket)
