I've read through many posts about running an amplifier power wire through the firewall of a 2nd gen Fit. I see the popular option is to use the grommet on the passenger side that's behind the glove box and blower fan assembly. Do you need to take the air box and fan out of the car? I can't find any pictures of how this should work. From what I can see, unfortunately it looks like I do. Another option? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Open the hood, pull the grommet loose so that light passes through the hole, then go around and look up from below the glove box and you should be able to see it.

 

I'll give that a try.
