How many times windshield replaced?

Have a 2013 Fit base. Getting ready to put in windshield #4 tomorrow. Arizona is notorious for rocks hitting windshields. Have 83,000 miles on the car, usually get rock chip or crack when doing a trip to northern Arizona. We put in #3 windshield about 6 months ago. arghhh

Currently on the fourth one between the original owner and I.

Of course, a few months after #4 got put in, a rock bounced on my windshield and left a small pit with some baby cracks. Surprised it hasn't spread. This all happened around 2017.

Once or twice on my 2010, plus one repair. (sold the car after six years)
New York State has the option of full-coverage glass (no deductible) on car insurance. I've gotten my money's worth.

2016 Honda Fit. Bought New.
Had to replace windshield 1st winter, gravel on roadway caused crack.

When setting up the work to be done with Safelite, was told by the scheduler "Oh we're experts on replacing Honda Fit windshields, we get so many of them":

Been OK since, but low profile, and big windshield, I think just means more potential hits, and more potential cracks.

Mine got busted not long after I got it. A wind deflector helps.

I'm not sure what the big deal is? I just had mine replaced on my 2017 Fit. It was under $200. Every time I've ever had a new windshield installed I couldn't believe how clear it was and how much nicer it was compared to the one it replaced even before it was damaged. It just seems to make the car a whole lot better.

91K on my 2015 and still with the original windshield. To me it's got a nice slope so I'm surprised people are going through so many windshields. I would have thought they would just bounce off, but maybe they use a thinner windshield. When I had a 2004 4runner that got a new windshield 2 months of ownership, but it had a much more upright windshield. I went through 3 of them in the 165k of ownership.

When I got my windshield replaced I called around some shops and chose one that could install a reputable windshield brand of my choice. I'm not sure what brand is being installed onto your Fits but lesser quality and thinner windshields may be attributing to your frequent replacements. Regardless, the Fit has a huge windshield.
