Looking to get a Fit, does this look like a good option?
I had a 2020 Fit EX with CVT and it was fine. Not as engaging to drive as a MT, but it was fine. According to Edmunds, a 2016 EX-L with CVT did 0-60mph in 8.8 seconds (https://www.edmunds.com/honda/fit/2016/review/), which is faster than their test of the 2013 MT at 8.9 seconds, and the auto at 11 seconds (https://www.edmunds.com/honda/fit/2013/review/). There are plenty of happy GK owners with the CVT--it is a very reliable transmission.
Oh so for some reason forgot to update here, I wound up buying one 3 days ago. It's a white 2017 Fit LX Manual. Wasn't really expecting to get a manual, but I'd always though it would be fun to learn. So I decided to take a look at one and when my dad test drove it (since I couldn't do it) I just fell in love with the thing. Looks to be in pretty good shape, 77k miles. The knob that selects the AC mode (face/feet/defrost) doesn't work, but the dealer set it as a we owe item and I already have an appointment for them to fix it. Doesn't have floor mats so I need to buy those, and the shift knob is pretty worn down on the top lettering so I'll want to replace that.
@atomicwrites Nicely done. Post back often, and let us know how it goes.
