Installed new Ignitions Coils and Cylinder 4 keeps misfiring

Last week I replaced all 4 ignition coils and it worked for the 1st drive but the 2nd decided to be a 3 cylinder, any advice I can fix this

Is a misfire your only code?
Coils and injectors are electronic and have specific fault codes paired with them when they fail (excluding phantom misfires wherein a car should have other stuff wrong with its performance). What led you to replace coils? What other work has been done?

Swap the coil from 3 with another cylinder. If the misfire follows, then you just have a bad new coil. If not, then you have another problem. Swap the spark plug and check your wiring.

switch coils 3 & 4 and see if misfire switches cylinders. That will tell you if new coil is bad. Also, did you check if plugs were loose?

It’s possible an injector has failed, have you tested them? The injectors should all read about 10ohms, also the injector clips should have 7.3 volts at key on engine off. If your readings are outside this range you have a failure, do not swap injectors around to test if this is the case you will ruin more than one.

here is a link where I discussed it further.

I totally forgot that you went over this and corrected my ****. That was so cool!!
I wish I knew how to find voltage/ohm specs reliably. They can be hidden deep within specific troubleshooting procedures if they're anywhere.

One of the dudes I'm working for presently will not replace any more than the specific failed item. we already spent too much and he's gotta build up his savings. Just did a singular injector replacement for him in hopes of avoiding a 3am phone call.. I'm glad I kept reading here. It reminded me of what to do if he calls back anyways. Bonus: He already has a spare ECM in his trunk.

@cutsheal5 I am in your debt!

Did you use the Hitachi coils or the cheap ones?
I would have replaced the plugs at the same time.
NGK Ruthenium spark plugs are the way to go.

cheap unfortunately (the hitachi pack costs almost $200) only 1 has failed for now so the others are ok for now
