Electronic Stability Control

hi,

Does anyone know how to determine easily, whether or not the ESC is ON or OFF?
according to the start up lights

ESC exists.
Yet the dash button give no signs of it being ON or OFF. Because when pushed in, it always returns to the original height. Plus it doesn't help that said button doesn't have an on/off light. Switching the car on & off, between each push make no visible difference to the start up or any other lights

Is it a button you have to hold for a short period of time? I'd check the manual, but I don't think my fit has ESC.

thanks, I didn't try that. It's currently getting a new head unit installed. So I'll try that later today.

Yes you are right, which the local Honda service agent didn't know. The car electrician whom installed my new head unit, confirmed that for me. Which my testing proved to be right.

My paper manual is in Japanese, so I don't like trying to reading it. I've just found a pdf english version, for bed time reading

The button is to the lower left of the steering wheel, on the dashboard amongst two other pop out covers where you can install a switch for.. fog lights, throttle controller, ect. Stability/traction control is on by default. Its light only comes on when you hold the button to turn the system off.
