Hello all,
Does anyone know what may be the cause of this nasty oil marking or where exactly it's coming from?

Sorry there, I have a manual trans, is that right where the engine and transmission meet? That dirty nub in the second picture looks kinda like a rubber cover for access to flex plate bolts.
If so, you could pull that cover out and check for fluid inside.

If you could get another shot showing proximity to another component, like cv shaft, that'd be sweet.

this is not mine, I took a screenshot from Youtube showing a guy that he has a similar but worse leakage than mine,
after some research, I assumed it is old atf since the car once was overfilled by 1 qt with atf (changed it with the right amount~ 3 qts). The marking is somewhat dry, I shouldn't worry, right?

I use window cleaner for this because it cuts through oil and grease with ease . Update us on your finding . Pictures would be a bonus and the best of luck .
