How to lock the fit (Proximity key)

Very dumb question but I've just bought my first fit.

It is a 2010 Honda RS and comes with a proximity key.
It unlocks great by lifting the handle with key in pocket, but it doesn't seem to lock when I get out and I'm forced to fumble for my keys to lock it via remote button.

Am I missing something?! I feel so stupid but I've tried pressing the black sensor thing on the door, unlike my parents cars with proximity, it doesn't seem to be a button... Just a sensor? And can't be pressed. Both driver and passenger door acts the same way.

Can't find an owners manual that refers to this type of key for the the GE8...

Is there a rubber button on the door handle? IF so a hard push should work, as it does to mine

Cheers that worked - I had pressed on that rubber button but was afraid I'd break it if I pushed any harder. I've had other cars with these type of buttons and it required about 5x less force to lock than this one. Both passenger/driver are about the same so I guess that's just how it is on this model
