Hi Fellow Fit Freaks,
My gen 2, 2009 has had the tranny fluid and tranny switch (the small one with a yellow plastic connector) changed about 3 months ago. Today I got the flashing D of death and a CEL. Went to AutoZone and the P0848 code came up and they are recommending a transmission control solenoid part # TCS90 from Duralast. Not sure if this is correct or if the cheap eBay switch is bad. Thoughts?

I guess you will have to buy a new one and relace it and see of the code goes away. Check the online manual to see if you can check the switch and make certain of malfunction before buying a new part. Perhaps reinstall the original part to see if there is any change. Best of luck, Clay
