Trans Started to shudder a bit engine light came on on got code p0718 at 118k so I Replaced both speed sensors. The engine light went away but still shudders a bit coming out of low gears or overdrive. I changed the Trans oil and used Castro universal full synthetic back at 116k. Oil look clean.
does it take a little time for this to correct itself?
Should I change the oil and again and use Honda ATF-DW1 oil? Or just save the money for a rebuild and drive it easy?

 

I think it is a general consensus to use only Honda ATF in Honda ATs. Maybe multiple drain and fills between short driving periods in between. There is a procedure post somewhere on here where one could disconnect transmission lines to more quickly "rotate" the old fluid out and the new fluid in. I have no idea if this would correct your issue.
