HondaPartsNow.com

I use to use this site in the past, and they were adequate. My last few experiences lead me to believe that the entire business is now run by AI, there is no Customer Service and you should consider all purchases "As Is" and "Final." They may even be selling fake parts. I do not know.

Time for me to move on.

In the past I've bought stuff from hondaautomotiveparts.com (previously Majestic Honda). However a few years back they switched their site to a "revolution parts" inventory system which categorizes things differently. It still uses Honda diagrams and part numbers, but with a different hierarchy to find a particular diagram. This was around the time the Honda "DreamShop" popped up, so I assume Honda jacked up fees for sites using their original system, or otherwise pulled the rug out from under them.

Yeah, after a couple of tries with questions about specific parts on the hondapartsnow site I just gave up on them. Now I get my parts from oempartsonline.com; the last few orders have come from Singing River Honda in Alabama. Prices seem to be as good as hpn and delivery timeframes and communications have been fine. I'm happy with them.

I had a similar situation with HondaPartsNow. They asked for images of the shipping box and parts, then kept telling me that they couldn't see, or couldn't open, the images. Got nowhere.

A while back, I dealt with oempartsonline and Singing River. I was emailing directly with a parts guy at Singing River and the service was very good. However, it is not clear to me if oempartsonline is the same as Singing River, or if oempartsonline sorts orders and refers them to various dealers. This search shows Bob Howard, not Singing River.

In 2022, I placed an order for a case oil filters from Honda of Lisle in Illinois. That worked out fine.

Today, I'm going to go to a local dealer and see what they will do on some parts. If they can come close to online prices, I may buy local.

College Hills Honda and Bernardi Honda have been good in the past.

College Hills still looks good. Bernardi not so much. Nothing is in stock, even if the site says "in stock," and their shipping and handling amounts to throwing your order into a box and sending it.

If you want to pay more, you can use Toronto Honda Parts!

It is now really hard to order parts from the US for us Canadians...

I do think oempartsonline kind of deals orders to a bunch of dealers. Not sure how they choose the dealer pool or which dealer gets which order.

I may have gotten Singing River because my orders were placed within one month. If I'd waited a couple of months between orders I might have gotten Bob Howard or another service department for one or more of them.

From: Attleboro MA,
They are Majestic Honda's internet parts. They are near me. Used to be able to order parts from them online and go pick them up. A few years ago, they started charging a pickup fee (about the same as shipping). For walking in and getting your package! Even though they are just handing it to you!
