What was you build date and what day did it come in? Im trying to figure out how long I have to sell my car. Thank you for any information. I mean I know they are saying 3-5 weeks and my dealer said from his experiance of Japan it is 4 weeks. But, I have to sell my car before this happens so I need to know what my real time frame is.

Your dealer sounds about right. If you push them they (your salesman) should be able to tell you when the car is finished at the factory, when it's loaded on the boat, when it arrives, when it's unloaded, when it's put on a semi and some sort of schedule as far as it's getting to your dealer.

 

Build date was 7/29, got off the truck at dealer and I drove away with it on 8/27

 

Where r u guys finding the build date? On my door sill sticker, the only date I can interpret is "8/08". It doesn't say a day.

I got mine last Wednesday.

 

on mine, i found a sheet in the glovebox I guess from the factory (all of it was in japanese) that showed my vin and a date of 7/29/08. The door of my car shows 8/08

 

I just got back from my dealer. I went to pick up one of the new brochures. He told me my car has been built and assigned a VIN. He said it's probably already sitting on a boat and should be here in 3 weeks. It was built on 8/24.
