Looks really good pinball! I'm taking mine in next weekend for 35% all around. I have a question for you (or anyone, even the GD3 fit owners)... compared to other cars you have had tinted (if you have) did you find the price higher with the fit? Being that it has so many windows. I got a quote and it was a bit higher than what I payed for my "normal" window-count cars lol.

 

I charge $165.00 to tint a FiT, I`m sure when I get a chance to tint a 09 it will be the same.

 

I paid $180 Monday to tint my 09 sport. The same two guys that I have used for the last 10 years. It took them about 2 hours.

 

Do you guys tint your windshield? If so, did you have to pay extra?

I just got mine done yesterday with Llumar AT35 and it cost $275. The shop said they don't tint the windshields unless you pay an additional $125 and sign a waiver.

 

I have the Fit Sport 08, your tint really improves the look of the 09. Sad to say the going rate in Calgary for a tint is $400 for all windows, not the windshield though.

Here in Oklahoma, the limit is 25%. I am sure I will do that all around. I was quoted 219 + Tax. I believe that is a little high. My dad is going to ask the tint shop he always uses (He owns a limousine company) and see what he can hook me up with. I am looking for somewhere around 175, which is what the 07's and 08's were running here in OK.

 

pinballlooking, what did you pay and where did you get it done? Did you put stickers on any of the windows?

SC Sticker Requirements: The sticker to identify legal tinting is required between the film & glass on each tinted window.

Hey BlackUp, if you are registered in S.C. a passenger car must have a 35% film or not exceed a 27% net and requires cert. stickers in every window that has tint on it and it must have dealer name, address, phone number and % of tint, if it does not have the cert. stickers even if the tint is 35% it`s not legal. Hope this helps.

 

It took about 2 hours to do and it cost $160 they use 3M tint with a
Life time warranty.

Got 15% all around yesterday (legal for rear windows), plus the windshield piece across the top - - $140, took about 1 1/2 total time.
