K20z3 vs L15a7.......when do we get a K20 swap?

oh yeah thats right. i do recall him saying he goes to a certain gas station to fill up jugs of high octane gas. if i remember correctly i think in japan the lowest ocatne is 91 than goes up to 100?

Cek out the noblesses k20 fit

its the GE FIT with k20 + mu project big break kit

it fits snugly .. lol

Okay, total mechanical newbie here, but didn't I hear that the K20 is significantly heavier than the L15 the Fits have? So affects suspension, cornering weight distribution, etc? From what little I've looked at it, about 5K-8K for the engine swap with some bodywork done to accomodate the larger engine and of course labor - then full suspension workover and possible chassis reinforcement braces?

Wouldn't it be far more economical to just use forced induction on the Fit, adding maybe 10-15 lbs to the front? Or would this be offset by potential drop in fuel efficiency at high revs (especially highway cruising say at 75-80 MPH)?

Edit: OOPS. Wow, really old old thread FTW!
