Direct Swap

Does anyone know of an engine that could be a direct swap. B16, B18 maybe? I know the L15 has potential, but DOHC seems to be a bit better for performance. Not to mention a better surplus of parts out there.
Has anyone heard/seen of this yet?

Alright, let me rephrase my question a little bit then.lol.
Is there a swap that can be done so that there is no cutting of the frame or anything? Because I have seen the K-swap and I'm not pleased with having to cut into the frame. It's a decent swap and all, but is it worth destroying something so beautiful?

What about sticking with the L15, and getting as much torque as possible. I am looking to get where I'm going quick and cleanly. What would be my best upgrades to get? Right now I have the AEM-CAI, Eiback Sportline Springs, and the 50mm Skunk racing cat back exhaust. What would be my next best upgrade?

It's illegal to put a older engine in your car. it has to be current or newer to pass inspection. Or be on the road.

that is true. i still would never put a b series in a fit. So much more technology in todays engines.

I agree that the Fit is fun the way it is. But for racing purposes, I'm looking for as much torque as I can get out of the L15. I may not get as much as I could with a k20, but for modding/cash reasons I can't do a huge swap. Right now I'm looking into the AJ racing Turbo, which should add some good numbers when tuned. But I'm up in the cold country and it's hard as hell to get parts. So right now I'm very limited as to what I can get my hands on.
Thanks for all the replies.

Phil

Don't kid yourself. All of Oklahoma is hickville . That damn near bear would be enough to make me move.
